By accessing or using LocalDocs.AI software ("Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access or use the Software.

2. Software License

Upon payment of the license fee, LocalDocs.AI grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software for personal or business use on devices you own or control.

• You may install the Software on multiple devices you personally own and use
• You may not share, distribute, or sublicense the Software to third parties
• You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
• Commercial use is permitted under this license

3. Updates and Maintenance

Your initial purchase includes one (1) year of software updates at no additional charge. After the first year:

• The Software will continue to function as purchased
• Optional maintenance at $39/year provides continued updates, new features, and support
• Security updates may be provided free of charge at our discretion
• Maintenance is optional and not required for continued use

4. Privacy and Data Processing

LocalDocs.AI is designed to process all documents locally on your device:

• No document content is transmitted to our servers or any third-party services
• All AI processing occurs locally on your device
• We do not have access to your documents or their content
• Anonymous usage analytics may be collected to improve the Software

5. Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. To request a refund:

• Contact us at hello@localdocs.ai within 30 days of purchase
• Provide your purchase confirmation and reason for refund
• Refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days
• After 30 days, all sales are final

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

7. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL LOCALDOCS.AI BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE.

8. System Requirements

The Software requires specific system specifications to function properly:

• Minimum 16GB RAM recommended for optimal performance
• Compatible operating systems as specified on our website
• Sufficient storage space for AI models and document processing
• It is your responsibility to ensure your system meets these requirements

9. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Software for:

• Any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
• Processing of illegal content or documents
• Attempting to circumvent software protection mechanisms
• Creating derivative works or competing products
• Bulk distribution or commercial resale of the Software itself

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your license immediately if you breach these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Software ceases immediately
• You must cease all use and delete all copies of the Software
• Provisions regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability survive termination

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
